Lá Féile Pádraig
agaibh!
Lá Féile Pádraig agaibh- that means “Happy Saint
Patrick’s day” in Irish. This holiday is rarely celebrated in Spain but
among the Irish it is worshipped! But like almost every other holiday, St.
Patrick´s day has a story behind it. This holiday is celebrated on 17th of
March, the traditional death date of St Patrick, Ireland´s patron saint who
introduced christianity to them. The celebrations usually include parades, (the
most famous are held in Dublin and New York city.) And consuming Ireland´s
traditional foods, beer and bacon and cabbage.
